Obedience training focuses on teaching your dog cues and commands; think sit, down, stay, leave it, come, etc. Behavior modification fixes more serious issues like resource guarding, anxiety, aggressive behavior, etc.
I use a positive approach. I believe understanding how our dog’s function on a cognitive and emotional level is the key to success when training.
The sessions go between 1-2 hours, usually being closer to 1.5 hours. Time is dependent on two things, what we are working on with the dog, and the dog’s temperament throughout the session. We go by the dog’s pace, not our own.
Yes. I do training off the island of Montreal within a reasonable distance. Any location outside of a 20km radius will be subject to a travel fee.
